Classically trained Michelle Jade performs with artists including Andrea Bocelli, Richard Marx, Kenny Loggins, Marco Antonio Solís, Five for Fighting, the Irish Tenors, Il Volo, and X Japan. In the classical realm, she has served in principle positions in orchestras performing under the direction of Michael Tilson Thomas, David and Joey Newman, John Williams, and many more. Michelle has served as concertmaster for Japanese recording artist Yoshiki since 2013, including his 2014 Classical World Tour. She has performed throughout Europe, Asia, and the US in cities including Paris, London, Shanghai, Bangkok, Tokyo, and New York City. She has appeareed at renowned venues like Walt Disney Concert Hall, Royal Festival Hall, the Grammy Museum, Gibson Amphitheater, Madison Square Garden, and Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. She performs at events and festivals such as SXSW, Video Games Live, Japan Expo, Otakon, and Comic Con.
Michelle's most influential mentors include Sonja Foster, Jennifer Lee, Linda Rose, and internationally renowned violinist and juror Sergiu Schwartz. She has been the winner and semi-finalist of local and national competitions including the National Sphinx Competition. She has attended festivals such as Bowdoin International Music Festival, Chautauqua Music Festival, and the National Orchestral Institute, where she served as concertmaster under conductor Michael Stern.
Michelle performs regularly in live concerts, musicals, TV spots, and private events. She also records in LA's most renowned studios such as Capitol Records, Warner Brothers, Sony, Fox, EastWest, and The Village, as well as her own home studio. She has worked with renowned TV and film composers including Hans Zimmer, John Debney, Ramin Djawadi, Jeff Russo, Marco Beltrami, and Bear McCreary. Michelle can be heard on film and television soundtracks including Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Once Upon A Time, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, Independence Day: Resurgence, The Accountant, Geostorm, and Transformers: The Last Knight.
